T20 cricket franchise · Pitch work · Sport
A season of club content from one kit, without a player on set.
A T20 franchise needs a constant stream of content: kit launches, sponsor activations, signings, matchday. Every piece costs player time, which is the scarcest thing a team has. We made this as a pitch to show what a season could look like without it.
We designed a kit and supplied it to ourselves as packshots, the way a club would, then locked it: the collar, the gold print, the wordmark, the fabric, the sponsors. We cast one player for the club, locked his face and build, and held him and the kit across a season of scenes and a matchday reel.
19 scenes across kit launch, sponsors, signings and matchday, plus an 84-second reel, from one kit and one locked player, with no shoot day.

The film
The kit and the player we locked
From this…
Locked once, then held in every frame that follows.

One instruction: “change the light behind him to blue”. The player and the kit stay exactly the same.
What we made
…to this.

Kit launch.
The reveal, the retail images and the details for the online store, all from one product lock, so the launch, the shop and social show the same shirt.

Sponsor activations.
Sponsors are owed content with players in it, and player time is scarce. Each partner gets its own set, from the same kit, without a shoot day.

Squad, signings and matchday.
Portraits for announcements and matchday graphics. The player is cast for the club and held across every frame, so the face belongs to the team.
